THERE ARE 1189 CHAPTERS  IN THE 66 BOOKS OF THE BIBLE.  SO FAR A I HAVE SYNOPSIZED 212 CHAPTERS.
I ONLY HAVE 977 CHAPTERS TO GO.  THIS SITE WILL BREAK INTO 2 PAGES WHEN I GET DONE  WITH THE OLD TESTAMENT. Brian

To hear the audio reading:

2. Click the 6th audio button that looks like this Biblle to be read audio button. It is located at  the 2nd box from the right end at the top of the page just below "Page Results." Allow for buffering. It uses RealPlayer software.
You will hear a professional voiceA professional voice will read the bible to you while you surf the net. reading that specific  bible chapter to you. Listen again and again until you learn the chapter well. To hear the next chapter press the 4th button and then the 6th audio button to hear the scripture read to you.  (Prior to the printing press in 1436,  books were not available.
